About Pack and Troops 355
Scouting is a great family activity! It is a wonderful way to spend time with your children in the great outdoors experiencing new, fun, and exciting adventures. Our troop focuses on Outdoor FUN, Life Skills, Leadership Development, and Community Service. We are glad you are considering joining us!

Scouting is available to youth in Grades 1 to 12. We offer a coed Cub Scout Pack for grades 1-5, a Scouts BSA Troop 355B for boys ages 11-17, and a Scouts BSA Troop 355G for girls ages 11-17. Troops 355 are the largest Scouts BSA troops in Newton with over 60 registered Scouts and 20 registered adults. Youth can join Scouts at any point during the school year.

Additional Details
We are chartered by Our Lady Help of Christians, however you do not need to be Catholic to join. Our troop has members of many faiths. Our Scouts come from many neighborhoods in Newton and Brighton. We have a mix of public and private school kids. Our troop has a wonderful international presence. Many of our families are bi-lingual and speak Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Italian, and French.

Meetings are held at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 573 Washington St, Newton MA 02458. The Troops meets every Tuesday and the Cub Pack meets every other Tuesday during the school year (we follow the Newton Public Schools calendar).
